To Search The Top 100k:
Using the search engine will retrieve a list of all our permanent top sites which contain the search term in their name. address or descriptions. Take the following steps to conduct a search.
When a site matches the search term or phrase it will appear in a list with links to the site, the site address and a complete description. To search for either one of two words or two phrases type them into the form separated by a comma. The search engine will return any site descriptions that contain either of the two terms or phrases. To efficiently use the search engine pick general phrases or words, and common terms that are associated with the area of research. Alternatively you can also use the category navigational application, the site index or the web 2.0 list of categories to find a top site instead of using the search engine. This site uses a client-side search engine that save our resources on our web servers. It may take a little longer than a typical server-side search, but our search provides more complete answers and clearer descriptions to only top informational sites. Our search engine is updated with all newly submitted sites that meet our criteria at the end of every month. At this time these contributed sites are moved into the permanent section of our category lists and integrated into all the cleint-side search engine's category sections.
